Effective Detection of Nonsplit Module Extensions
Let n be a positive integer, and let R be a finitely presented (but not necessarily finite dimensional) associative algebra over a computable field. We examine algorithmic tests for deciding (1) if every n-dimensional representation of R is semisimple, and (2) if there exist nonsplit extensions of non-isomorphic irreducible R-modules whose dimensions sum to no greater than n.
متن کاملMODULE EXTENSIONS OVER CLASSICAL LIE SUPERALGEBRASEdward
We study certain ltrations of indecomposable injective modules over classical Lie superalgebras, applying a general approach for noetherian rings developed by Brown, Jategaonkar, Lenagan, and Warreld. To indicate the consequences of our analysis, suppose that g is a complex classical simple Lie superalgebra and that E is an indecomposable injective g-module with nonzero (and so necessarily simp...

متن کاملOn the Inverse Problem for Generalized One-Sided Concept Lattices
Generalized one-sided concept lattices represent a generalization of the classical concept lattices convenient for analysis of object-attribute models with different types of attributes. Formally, to each objectattribute model (represented by the notion of formal context) there is assigned a pair of concept-forming operators. Fixed points of these operators form a hierarchical structure consist...
متن کاملOne-Sided Interval Trees
We give an alternative treatment and extension of some results of Itoh and Mahmoud on one-sided interval trees. The proofs are based on renewal theory, including a case with mixed multiplicative and additive renewals.
